In addition to providing outsourcing services for other insurance companies, we at Quest Group acquire insurance related businesses.   This may include risk carriers (including portfolios of discontinued business, captives etc.) or service companies in our specialist sector.  Once completed, acquisitions may operate independently or benefit from Quest Group’s existing operating platform and expertise.  When dealing with run-off insurance business acquisitions this is a natural extension of our outsourced management offering. Our specialist expertise in managing run-off business makes us a natural buyer of legacy business. 

We look to work with vendors as partners. A typical situation we encounter involves a live insurance operation looking to exit discontinued business which is not core to its activities to enable it to focus its capital and human resources on the continuing or new business. Completing a disposal to Quest Group can achieve this goal releasing capital and management time to support a seller's ongoing operations.
